Stamp It!

I choose to create a stamp of a tootsie pop. Drawing on the stamp was a great experience. The best part was carving it out so that only the tootsie pop showed when I stamped it. Having a stamp with just a tootsie pop was kinda boring so to give it a pop I drew the pop kind of decoration around it. Stamping it was so cool. We could use all different colors of paint and even the paper. We crated print after print.

Art x3 Passed on!

This project was started by someone identified by a number. Later it was passed to someone else. The second numbered person added to it, and lastly I ended up with it and had to add anything that I thought was needed for this project. We had a theme that needed to be followed. The theme was celebrity. My thoughts when I received the piece was "Wow what am I gonna be able to do with this". The corner read " Where am I going?" I thought about it for a while and that's when I thought about making it like a little map. Right away I got to work I found a star and wrote next to it "You are here". With a nice dotted line I followed it to where I had placed the word Hollywood. Behind in the darkness of the picture I had seen two hands and I
thought that could symbolized that no matter where you are going you will always be safe.

Lucky cookies, fortune cookies.

This art project was inspired by six fortune cookies. I cracked open all six and read the fortunes over and over. I read all the learn Chinese words and even the lucky numbers. Using all of those things i created a work of art. The learn Chinese and the fortunes inspired me to create my art the most. I could right words in Chinese and even the symbols. I didn't think I could make art out of the fortune cookies but I did and it was a great experience.
